Cardano After Dark will implement a pure Poker DApp on the Cardano Blockchain based on research from IOG.

Decentralized online-poker means there is no single entity controlling our Money, no waiting for your funds to arrive on a centralized poker-platform and also no superusers or server to hack.
In science Poker is being used for innovation- and demonstration-purposes a lot and this is where we are at right now with our Catalyst-community Fund 8 Proposal.

When we accomplish the implementation of a pure Poker DApp, IOGs research suggests that we can also implement other games of chance with hidden information just as decentralized.
In order to accomplish quick transactions and therefore actions in the game as well as low fees we use the Hydra protocol.
